Nakba Day Rally in Melbourne, Australia

A Nakba Day rally in Melbourne marked the 77th anniversary with participants marching approximately 6 kilometres from the State Library to St Kilda Beach. The demonstration included a protest outside the U.S. Consulate, denouncing U.S. support for Israel amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza. The rally expressed solidarity with the Palestinian struggle and called for justice and an end to Israeli occupation. Nakba Day commemorates the 1948 displacement of over 750,000 Palestinians during the creation of the state of Israel.
