Kurdish Language Day celebrated in Diyarbakir, Turkey

The Kurdish Language Holiday was celebrated with a march organized by the Mesopotamian Language and Culture Research Association (MED-DER) in Diyarbakir, Turkey. In a press statement issued after the march attended by hundreds of people, the Kurdish language was asked to be granted official status.
