Launched in 2019 by Aquarius International Development (AQI), Aquarius Residences & Resort was announced as a US$250 million luxury real-estate and resort project on Koh Chang Island, Thailand, owned by Hong Kong–based Norcal Venture Capital Group. The 145-rai (23.2-hectare) plan included villas, condominiums, retail units, and a 200-room hotel under The Chedi brand, with openings planned for 2022–2023. Two show villas and a sales gallery were completed in 2021, but development did not progress beyond the marketing phase. As of 2026, the project has never opened.
